From The Heart Boxed Card Set

There was a special Close To My Heart promo last month that included a terrific stamp set, called From the Heart.

Over the past month, I have seen quite a few beautiful projects created with this stamp set.  Like this one from Chris Franco that really stood out to me, and which I ended up using as inspiration for my boxed card set.

The sentiment I used on the box is from one we received at Convention in 2016.

The birthday sentiment I used on the cards is from Birthday Sparkles.

I seriously am in love, love, LOVE with these cards.  Chris did an amazing job on hers, and made re-creating them super easy.

On a side note, I used to sell my instructions on how to create this card box, but I lost all of my files when I dropped my laptop about 2.5 yrs ago.  :(

60th

We celebrated my sister's 60th birthday when we were in Maui.

This was the card I made for her.

I used a paper from the Live Beautifully paper packet, and coloured the gold embossed outlined flowers with my inks and waterbrush.

The gold paper is from the gold and white stripe paper from the Uptown Fundamentals paper packet.

I bought her (us) matching Soul Sister bracelets sets from Sand & Stone Jewelry.

Sixty looks pretty darned good on you!  ♥

Unicorn Love... Little Dreamer

Even though I don't currently have any little girls in my life, I just simply had to get Little Dreamer!

I used the Little Dreamer Cardmaking bundle (stamp set with matching Thin Cuts dies) to create these sweet unicorn birthday cards.

So sweet!

On a side note, I am so happy to say that I just completed my Little Dreamer Workshop and got it sent off to be proofed yesterday!

The new CTMH Little Dreamer WYW Kit is so fun to create with!

Adorable Little Dreamer Cards

As I mentioned in my last post, these are the adorable Little Dreamer cards we made at the CTMH Spring Up Event in April.

We used papers from the NEW Little Dreamers paper packet, the NEW Little Dreamer Cardmaking Stamp set with matching Thin Cuts dies, the NEW Little Dreamer Glitter Gems, and White Shimmer Trim.

So cute, I am in love the unicorns!!!

NEW Card Buffet!

I have a brand new Card Buffet scheduled for May 17th!

I have around 20 NEW cards ready for you to come and create, along with the option to create some past cards, too!

This card buffet will be held on Wednesday, May 17th, from 7-9 pm at the Wizard's Hangout (my home studio).

Cost is $25 for all you can make, which includes envelopes.

How it works:  I have numerous different all-occasion card designs (multiples of each) pre-cut and ready in separate baskets for you to make.  You get to choose the designs you want to make, and make as many as you want, in 2 hours.  

The baskets and supplies will be on the tables so everyone can start promptly at 7 pm.  Then at 9 pm I will collect the baskets, and you will have a bunch of wonderful creations to take home with you.

I have sample cards for you to work from and they will not be complicated designs.  I want this to be for everyone, no matter your crafting expertise!

There is room for 8-10 people, so please sign up soon!  All you need to bring is your favourite adhesive, pop-dots, and scissors.

"Box of Donuts" Birthday Card

Sweet Donut Card Set

I am seriously loving these sweet cards!!!

I random stamped the donut images from the CTMH Sugar Rush Cardmaking stamp set, onto a piece of White Daisy cardstock, cut it up and created these adorable cards with it.

Seriously, my current favourite!

I am thinking of making this into a class...  so fun!

Wise Guy Birthday - More Random Stamped Cards

I took out the CTMH Wise Guy Birthday stamp set, which I haven't really played with yet, and I random stamped a piece of 6x6 White Daisy cardstock.

Then I used my journal pen to doodle around the cake images to define the shape.

I cut up the cardstock to create these three cards.

I have always enjoyed random stamping to create different patterned papers.

Random Stamped Some Kinda Wonderful Card Set

I had fun stamping a 6" x 6" piece of White Daisy cardstock, colouring it in with my ShinHan Touch Twin markers, and cutting it up to create the following 3 cards.

I am really loving the bright colours right now, especially at this time of year when I look outside my windows and everything outside is white, grey or brown.

Sugar Rush Donut Cards

For these cards, I used the NEW CTMH Sugar Rush papers and the Sugar Rush Cardmaking stamp set and Thin Cuts dies.

This is such a fun stamp set to play with!  I love that it has matching dies, too.
