Holiday Gift Exchange Layout

You may remember a little while back that I was one of the winners of the Close To My Heart Spooky Crafting Adventure Contest.

For my prize, I was allowed to choose any Cut Above Kit from the Annual Inspirations book.

I chose the Holiday Treat Bag Kit.

But I decided to use it in a different way... does that surprise you at all?  lol

In December, me and some of my friends will be getting together for a gift exchange, so I thought I would make a layout.

If I end up with lots of photos, I will just make another page to go with this single one, as I have lots of leftovers from the kit.

Happy OWLidays

I have really been enjoying stamps that require coloring lately.

So that means I've been using our new ShinHan Touch Twin alcohol based markers quite a bit.

Isn't this owl just plain cute?

I do have a thing for owls, tho.  ;)

I can never get it to show up in photos, but the blue flower and the light and
dark blue circles have all been painted with our retired Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel.

Adds just the right amount of sparkle.  ;)

Cranberry with Santa's Greetings.

Topiary with Tree Delights.

Set of 3 Random Stamped Christmas Cards

I pulled out a few older, retired stamp sets and inked them up to make a 6"x12" piece of random stamped cardstock, and decided to make a set of cards with it.

One of my favorite old, retired stamp sets is called Many Thanks.
It has a bunch of pretty leaves and most importantly the adorable acorn.
Love it.  ♥

What a great way to spend a cold, wintry day, inside stamping & papercrafting!

Okay, so this card uses up the last of my leftover piece of random stamped cardstock.

It turned out very nicely.  :)

I used an older Merry Monday Sketch #60 for the design.

And in case you missed my previous posts, these pictures show my random stamped 12x12 cardstock piece before I cut it up, and the other card and layout I made with it.
