Totally Awesome

Today is the last day to take advantage of this month's CTMH Deal of the Decade special offer where when you purchase $50 worth of product, you can buy an unlimited amount of C and D sized stamp sets from the Annual Inspirations catalog for just $10 each.

I grabbed a bunch myself, including the Feathers stamp set I used on this card.

(my card was inspired by this one I found on Pinterest done by TooManyCats)

I also used a new stamp set from the Seasonal Expressions mini catalog called You're the Bomb.
(CTMH donates $3 from each purchase of this set and it goes to Operation Smile.)

And I paired the stamps with one paper from the Hopscotch pack.

I guess this is my last post of the year.

Happy creating, and have a safe and happy new year!  :)

Supplies used are all CTMH:
Paper:  Hopscotch; Colonial White CS
Stamps:  You're the Bomb, Feathers, You Rock - retired
Inks:  Flaxen, Sunset, Glacier, Saddle
Embellishment:  Brown Embossing Floss - retired
Other:  Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel - retired, Micro-tip scissors, 3D foam tape

Merry, Merry Christmas

This is likely the last card I will be sharing before Christmas.  :)

I stamped the border directly onto the card base using Cranberry ink and a stamp from the One-Way Borders set.

For the wreath from the Merry Merry stamp set, I inked it in Sweet Leaf ink then rolled the outer edges in Topiary ink.

Then I stamped the berries (with pine cones) in Cranberry ink and stamped it on top of the wreath.

Then I stamped it again but this time with Saddle ink onto a scrap piece of Colonial White cardstock and then cut out the little pine cones and just glued them on top of the red ones.

I inked the bird/holly image with Cranberry ink and stamped it directly onto the wreath.

Then I used my scissors to trim the wreath out and used 3D foam tape to pop it off of the card.

The sentiment banner was also stamped onto scrap cardstock and trimmed out and I used 3D foam tape to raise it in the center so it sits higher than the wreath.

Lastly I added a couple of Clear Bitty Sparkles and some Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel onto the bird.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas!

Happy creating!  :)

Hanging Photo Clipboard and Printable Christmas Decor

Ok, so here's a couple of different crafty things to share...

First up is a hanging photo clipboard.

I like these because you can easily switch out the photo.

I actually bought the photo clipboard from a rustic country store, but it was a little cheesy and not rustic at all, so I removed the clip and tucked the ribbon behind the mdf board and spray painted it with a few coats of chalkboard spray paint.

After it dried completely, I cut out a shape large enough to frame a 4x6 photo using my Cricut and some scrap cardstock.  I then used a white chalk pen and outlined the shape, and added some extra lines.

The last step was to screw the clip back on to the mdf, and then I added the stickers.

My second project simply used this printable I found via Pinterest, and a red frame from Ikea.

Happy creating!  :)
