Charlotte Center Step Cards

As promised, here's the other cards I made using some of the leftover scraps from the Charlotte Workshop Your Way layouts and cards.

If you are wondering, these are called "Center Step Cards".

This one is a skinnier version of the center step card.

Tip:  For the flowers on this card, I used my watercolor paints to paint some scrap pieces of White Daisy cardstock.  Once they were dry, I used the Springtime Wishes Thin Cuts to cut the shapes, and then used regular Black ink to stamp the outlines of the flowers and leaves onto the painted pieces.  That way I didn't have to use Archival Black ink, which always stains my stamps.  ;)

Super sweet, and the center step cards are easy to make.

Merry Merry Christmas...

I used the Close To My Heart Merry, Merry stamp set to make this card.

I first stamped the wreath image with Versamark ink, and sprinkled Gold embossing powder over top and heat set it.

For the bird image, I stamped it in lagoon, and used a black journal pen to draw the lines on the branch, then trimmed it out with my scissors and popped it up with 3D foam tape.

And I added some Aqua Dots to decorate the wreath.  Easy, peasy.

Twinkle Lights Card

Here's a fun and quick Christmas card I made using the Twinkle stamp set.

CTMH Kaleidoscope Cardmaking Workshop Kit

I finally got around to making the adorable CTMH Kaleidoscope Cardmaking Workshop Kit this past weekend.

It makes 15 cards, plus there are still leftovers to play with.  I also adore the stamp set included in this kit.  It is super cute! 

On Sunday, we went to a friend's home to celebrate her daughter's 16th birthday.

I used one of the cards I had made and simple added the 16 in a sparkly pink glitter paper.

Just the right touch!
