This Year's Christmas Card

I realized that I didn't share this layout with you that I made at the end of December.

I sent out photo cards for Christmas this last year... I know, I know... gasp!!!  ;)

Anyways, a couple of them were sent back to me because the people had moved this past year, so I thought I would make a layout using one of them.

Happy creating!  :)

Ivy Lane (Adjusted) Hallett Purse and Card Set

Hi!  I am back with the smaller Hallett Purse today.

I will share my measurements below.

For this purse, I used the pretty, retired Ivy Lane papers.  (I have so many bulk papers left over that I need to use some of them up!)

I also made 6 matching birthday cards to fill the purse. (2 each of 3 different designs)

Ok, so to see how the larger bag (that I shared last time) is made, please refer to Crafty Hallett's instructions HERE.

And here are the adjusted size changes in her instructions that I made to create a smaller version of her bag-in-a-box purse:

Patterned Paper:  2 pieces at 4 3/4" x 8 3/4"
Base Cardstock:  3 1/2" x 8 ", score at 1" in on all 4 sides
Cardstock strips:  3 pieces at 12" x 3/4", and 3 pieces at 3 1/4" x 3/4" (or you can use pattered paper)
Cardstock Handles:  2 pieces at 1/2" x 9 1/2" (or you can use patterned paper)

(Just follow Crafty Hallett's instructions, using my sizing for this size bag.)

Happy creating!  :)

Bag In A Box Large Hallett Purse

I came across the instructions for these purse/bags on Pinterest and had to pull out my papers to give one a try.

You can find the instructions for the Large Hallett Bag HERE.

For my purse I used papers from La Vie En Rose, and some retired pink bigger brads.

It is fairly large and I am not sure what I am going to use it for yet, but I decided to shrink it down a bit and make one to hold a set of 5 1/2' x 4 1/4" cards.

I will share those next time.

Happy creating!  :)

Annual Christmas Party

I am lucky to be able to get access to the photos taken with the photo booth at the annual Christmas Party where my husband works.  You know the ones that print 4 little pictures on a photo strip?

Anyways, I was able to print the pictures I wanted in a larger format.

Photo booth is always a blast!

Energetic Learning Campus

I am back with the (first) high school page.

Here in Fort St. John, there are too many kids to fit into the main school, so about 3-4 years ago they opened a second campus for approximately 200 grade 10 students to help with the overflow from the main high school.  All I can say is it is an awesome school!  Next year he will be at the main high school for his grade 11 and 12 years.

So once he is there, I will need to create a page for that school.  ;)

Then after he is done grades 11 & 12, I will make those last two folio pages, and then I am planning to wrap the album(s) up with a grad photo page, too.

But for now, this is his first high school page.

I just need to snap a photo of the school for my layout, which is actually part of the Pomeroy Sports Centre (the school portion is located within the left side of the building in this picture), so they have access to an indoor running track, two hockey rinks, a skating oval, and the soccer pitch next door (along with other cool options) for their hour of exercise every morning before the school day starts.  Pretty cool.

Happy creating!  :)

Bert Bowes Middle School

Ok, so I shared all the folio layouts I did for Cole's school years to date.

I like to include a picture of his school, kind of like a cover page, but more so to separate the years into which schools he has attended.

I have done one for his elementary school (Charlie Lake Elementary), that I shared years back.

This one is from his middle school years, grades 7-9.

Next time I will share his high school page.

Happy creating!  :)
