A picture is worth a thousand words they say...
Schools closed early today, sending the kids home at 1 PM this afternoon. The roads are icy and full of slushy snow. It's starting to get dark, as you can see in the picture and it's still coming down. This is a picture of my deck from my front window. I'll be shoveling tomorrow morning, hopefully before it ices up from the forecasted overnight rain. So starts winter...
I'm actually jealous. We don't see snow here, if fact it's so humid and hot right now I just turned down the ac again. too bad I can't shovel the humidity out of here. I wish you warm thoughts and lots of creative time.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! We're in Ontario, which is what, a 3-4 hr flight, I think? And it was 15*C this morning! Mind you, it's very windy and the temp's dropping as the day goes, but not enough to bring the white stuff. It is supposed to only be a high of 2*C on Friday though. Wow, I can't believe all that snow and they had to close the schools. That's crazy. I hope it isn't a sign of the winter to come...
