I got a chance to play along with the Deconstructed Sketch yesterday.
Here's Sketch #59:
I used papers from Footloose and stamps from Life Is Tweet, last month's Stamp of the Month.
The bird is reverse masked, then sponged with ink: Creme Brulee and Tulip, and Sweet Leaf and Lagoon.
I saw a great tutorial (possibly even a video) on the reverse masking with this bird image earlier this week, possibly last week, but I now can't recall who did it. If someone knows, please let me know, and I'll add the link to my post. Thanks.
And of course I had to add a googlie eye to the bird; it just needed it! lol
Happy creating!
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Footloose B&Ts; White Daisy CS
Stamp: Life Is Tweet - June SOTM
Inks: Black, Lagoon, Sweet Leaf, Creme Brulee, Tulip; Sunset marker
Embellishments: Creme Brulee grosgrain, Pearl opaques, Lagoon button, White hemp
Other: Corner rounder, Scallop border punch (SU), Googlie eye (unknown), Scor-tape (ScorPal)
So Pretty!

Thanks, Kathy. I saw the tutorial on a CTMH Consultant's blog, using the same bird image and the same or similar ink colours, too. Wish I could remember whose tutorial it was now... ;)
