Baby Boy Album

I want to share this sweet little baby boy album I made.

I used the 6x8 Sea Glass Album (and 6x8 page protectors), papers from the Whimsy Fundamentals pack, and embellishments from the Baby Boy Complements.

The papers and embellishments are retiring at the end of July.  And the album is only available now in the Clearance section of my website (as part of a bundle) - there is also a black and white stripe one, if the Sea Glass isn't a colour you would use.  Be sure to check out the Going Soon section on my website, too, as there are lots of great deals.

Anyways, back to my project... my natural lighting was not great the day I took these photos, so please bear with me.  ;)

Jesse's Q&A Mini Album

One of my friend's youngest child turned 7 last week.

He is such a cutie!

A few days before that, I came across my son's Q&A book I made for him when he was 6, and with it fresh on my mind, I asked my friend if she would like me to make one of these mini albums for her son.

She did.  :)

Using the same questions I had asked Cole so many years ago, she asked her son those questions, and using his answers, this is the mini album I made for him.

Using the leftover scraps from my (retired) CTMH Urban paper pack and Complements, I also made him this birthday card.

Happy creating!  :)

Convention Roomie Gifts

Now that Convention is over and I am back home from an extended stay in Disney World, I can share the gifts I made for my Convention roommates.

I think they liked them.  ;)

Edited to add:  Here is the link to the same Mini Album I made, but where I used 6x6 kraft cards and envelopes for the pages.  For this mini album I just used 6x6 pieces of kraft cardstock for the pages.

Happy creating!  :)

Big MAGICAL Adventure 6x6 Mini Album

Have you seen the new CTMH Magical Paper Packet and Magical Complements?

So fun!

About a week ago, someone contacted me for info on an old project I made back in 2012.

Looking through the pictures of my old mini made me want to make a new version, so I pulled out my Magical papers and went to work, figuring it all out by looking at the pictures of my old mini album.  (The original was given away as a gift.)

My original was a 6x6 Kraft Card and Envelope Mini Album and the "how-to" for how to make the cover out of Kraft cardstock was made using instructions from fellow CTMH Consultant, Mary Gunn.

I just happened to have a bunch of these 6x6 Kraft cards left over to use on this album.  And honestly for the inner pages, it only uses 2 cards and 2 envelopes, plus one 6x6 piece of Kraft cardstock.

Note:  These CTMH Kraft cards and envelopes are discontinued now, but you could easily just use seven 6x6 pieces of Kraft cardstock for the inner pages.

When you open up the card page, there is room for two pages inside...

This shows the envelope page when it is opened up.  You can easily add another pull out page for even more photos.

These are the two pages inside of another card....

And here is another envelope opened up...

This last page has a pull out photo mat nestled in an envelope pocket.

Now I can't wait to fill this mini with pictures from our upcoming trip.  : )

Happy creating!  :)

Skylark Mini Album

I always have fun making mini albums.  : )

I found these instructions by Claudia via Pinterest and had to try them for myself.

This one uses one sheet of cardstock for the base, and one sheet of (bulk) patterned paper.

I added a little more cardstock on the inside for photo mats, and I decided to wrap the cover with a 4x6 Skylark Picture My Life card to add a fun closure.

Here is it being unfolded and opened...

Flip open the first two flaps and there are hidden photo mats inside.

Open the rounded flap and there is a hidden journaling/photo card tucked inside.

It's finished size is 4 3/4" tall x 4" wide.

Happy creating!  :)

Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper:  Skylark B&T; Whisper, Desert Sand, Lagoon CS
Ink:  Saddle
Embellishments:  Skylark PML card, Skylark Complements, Clear Sparkls
Other:  Corner rounder, Sponge, Hook & Loop dots, Mircro-tip Scissors, Coluzzle Circle - retired, 3/4", 1 3/4" and 2" circle punches (EK)
