Birthday Shaker Card

I hadn't ever tried making a shaker card before, so this turned out pretty good for a first try.

If I say so myself.  Haha.

(Inspired by this card by Lisa Kind.)

You may be wondering about the yellow patterned paper?

I used an old retired CTMH stamp set called Two-Step Backgrounds and Canary ink to stamp it.

The beautiful flowers are from the current Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp set, and coloured in with re-inkers by spritzing the watercolor paper with water first before adding the colours with a waterbrush.

The pink and purple sequins are also old retired CTMH products from quite a few years back.

Feels good to use up some of my old stuff and make it new!

Happy creating!  :)

Supplies used are all CTMH (unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Watercolor paper; White Daisy CS
Stamps:  Hawaiian Hibiscus, Celebrate With Cake - May SOTM, Two-Step Backgrounds - retired
Inks:  Black, Canary, Versamark
Re-inkers:  Honey, Pear, Sunset, Cotton Candy
Marker:  Cherry Pink ShinHan
Embellishments:  Gold Sequins, Bitty Sparkles, Pink and Purple sequins - retired
Dies:  Circles (SU), Pierced Circles (Spellbinders)
Other:  White Embossing Powder, Micro-tip Scissors, Waterbrush, 3D foam tape
