I have a lot of Christmas cards built up in my stash so far for this year, but I always like to make a bulk set of at least one card.
This one is it. ;)
So far I've only made 4 of these cards, but I can easily whip up more if I don't have enough Christmas cards to mail out by the end of November.
I used a PTI tree die shape and cut it out of Kraft Paper, then simply backed it with a piece of the Kraft/Black houndstooth paper from the Basics Paper Fundamentals pack.
The "Merry" is a SU thinlets die.
Really a pretty easy card to create, and I like the layers and country feel of it by using the houndstooth with Cranberry, Kraft, Black and Colonial White color combination. It just works. :)
Happy creating! :)
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Basics Paper Fundamentals; Kraft, Black, Colonial White, Cranberry CS
Stamp: Merriest Christmas
Ink: Black
Embellishments: Clear Sparkles, Red Shimmer Trim, Black Star
Other: Expressions Thinlits Die (SU), In the Meadow Silhouettes Dies (PTI), Micro-tip Scissors

Lovely Christmas cards.
I am in awe of how ahead of the game you are. I don't do my Christmas cards until December.
Yes, it definitely works! A wonderful idea to use houndstooth for the tree!!
