Baby Boy Album

I want to share this sweet little baby boy album I made.

I used the 6x8 Sea Glass Album (and 6x8 page protectors), papers from the Whimsy Fundamentals pack, and embellishments from the Baby Boy Complements.

The papers and embellishments are retiring at the end of July.  And the album is only available now in the Clearance section of my website (as part of a bundle) - there is also a black and white stripe one, if the Sea Glass isn't a colour you would use.  Be sure to check out the Going Soon section on my website, too, as there are lots of great deals.

Anyways, back to my project... my natural lighting was not great the day I took these photos, so please bear with me.  ;)

3 Babycakes Baby Layouts and Card... a Gift for a New Mom (of baby #2)

I created these layouts and card back in July or August.

I've been doing daycare for one little guy who is going to be becoming a big brother in October.

So I wanted to create a gift for his Mom for when the baby arrives.

Now, his Momma isn't a scrapbooker, so I wanted to create layouts that require minimal work on her end.

(I may have to trim some of her photos down to the correct size of the new baby for her layouts and glue them down for her.)

I also added some extra pages with slots for 4x6 and 6x4 photos at the back of her album, so she can easily add more photos to the album without having to do anything else.

The top two layouts were adapted from the Babycakes WOTG layout designs.

I just used the Babycakes My Compliments adhesive canvas pieces, and tweaked the originals a little.

The bottom layout is from the Make It From Your Heart Vol. 2 (if I remember correctly).

I saw this layout done by another fellow Consultant using these Babycake papers, and I thought I had written her name down.

But now it has been a few months, and I can't find who to give credit to.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

And lastly, here's the card I made, using some of the leftover pieces from the layouts.

I think it turned out pretty cute!

Although I had noticed that the framed portion is a little cock-eyed.

I've fixed that since I took this photo.  ;)

Baby Album

 

 

Some of you may have been wondering what I've been doing creatively, since I haven't been posting a whole bunch lately.

 

This is what was occupying my precious (but little) amount of scrapping time over the past month or so.

 

 

 

 

Now, I cannot take credit for the design of this mini album, as I just followed the instructions.

 

It was from a class held at our local scrapbooking store, and it was created and designed by a local gal by the name of Crystal Dutchak.

 

She creates the most amazing mini albums, always.

 

 

Anyways, there was a gal that works at my husband's office that took Crystal's class.

 

She completed the cover and the inside of the cover.

 

Then she asked me/hired me to finish the rest of the album for her.

 

So that's just what I did.  :)

 

 

Here's the rest of the inside pages, and a lot of them are in protective sheets, so please ignore the glare.

The back side of this last page was just brown cardstock, and meant to hold a large photo, so I didn't bother taking a photo of it.

 

 

I handed the album over last week, and she loved it.

 

I gave all the leftover supplies back to the owner of the album, so I'm sorry that I can't give you any sort of supplies list.
