I Heart Us & Card Captions Card Set

I guess I got busy and forgot to post this set of cards back in January when this CTMH Stamp of the Month, Card Captions, was current.

I used this set for the sentiments, along with bulk papers from the I Heart Us paper packet.

It's the Little Things & You're the Best

I whipped these two cards up today.

Some days, it all just flows out of me.

(And some days, it is a little more work.)

These ones were easy; I love that.  :)

For both cards, I used the CTMH Budding Peony (with Thin Cuts dies) and Wordfetti stamp sets, and Sugarplum, Sage, and Canary inks on my flower images.

I noticed in the photo that it looks like some of the little stars in my shaker are blue, but they are actually more of a pearlescent colour, and look more like shades of white and pink IRL. 

I used two markers to colour my Clear Sparkles and Bitty Sparkles;  first with the Peony Purple and then the Tender Pink.

For the random stamped background, I set up my stamps onto a 4"x4" block as shown below, and inked them in Mink ink.  I then only had to stamp this 3 times to fill my Lt. Mink cardstock piece.

It always feels so good to get my craft on!

Butterfly Thanks Card

This is my newest favourite card.  It is really pretty in person; sorry I now see that it is a little blurry.

I stamped the floral background with black ink onto the lighter side of a piece of Mink cardstock, using the Delicate Flower stamp set.

The butterflies and sentiment are from Chelsea Gardens Cardmaking stamp and Thin Cuts dies.

I have so much to share with you today!

First up is this card that I made using Feel So Blessed, the September Stamp of the Month set.

I ♥ this set!

I used our Hearts Thin Cuts to cut the main heart shape.

Then I used my waterbrush and added a little colour to portions of the stamped feathers, the "Thanks", and the the little heart.

I then added a bit of shine with my Shimmer Brush.

Forever & Always - Cut Above Kit

Today is Good Friday!

I hope you are all enjoying your day.

I have a quick share for you today.

It is using one of the Cut Above Kits, Forever & Always.

I changed it up by not following the directions, but by making it my own.  ;)

What a lovely layout, the patterns are soft and pretty, and that whitewashed woodgrain... ack, love it so much!

I also made a card, by adding some ribbon, a few clear sparkles (coloured with a ShinHan marker), and a retired sentiment CTMH stamp, Sending Love.

Hello Lovely Thank You Card

I like to make thank you cards for my customers. 

I mailed this one out recently to a gal who hosted an online party through me, and I wanted to send her a note of thanks.

I used the Hello Lovely stamp set and matching Thin Cuts.

I embossed the floral image with Silver embossing powder and then coloured it in with my ShinHan markers.

The sentiment background was stamped with various thank you sentiments from a few different retired stamp sets, and Whisper ink.

Hello Lovely Thank You Card

This is a great way to use up some scraps!   And it sure is pretty...  ;)

I used the new CTMH Hello Lovely papers, and the Hello Lovely Cardmaking stamp set for this gorgeous thank you card.  

I just love the look of the layered circles of patterns and colours.

Adore You Thank You Card

Hi all!  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday.

I am just getting back to normal around here.  

Family left for their home yesterday, and the tree and decorations will have to wait until next weekend, and school starts back up tomorrow, but life feels a little quieter now.

Here is a little card I made before Christmas, before it got too hectic...

I used the Adore You January Stamp of the Month set to create this pretty thank you card.

I was on a roll with watercolour painting around the images with ink last month when I made this 3 1/2" x 5" sized card.

I used Raspberry ink for the background, and Raspberry, Blossom, Fern and Lemon for the main flower images that I cut out and popped up with 3D foam tape.

I re-created a card I made years back, but this time I used this beautiful flower stamp set.

Just some simple stamping and embossing.
