You Are So Loved Layout

This was a fun layout to make using one of the CTMH Stitched Square Frames Thin Cuts dies to cut all the patterned papers I used from the Celebrate Mix-In paper packet.

And that beautiful flower image is from Bunches of Love stamp set.
I coloured the image with my inks and a waterbrush.

My title is from another gorgeous stamp set called Love Blossoms.
Which if I remember correctly, is available only until the end of the month from CTMH.

The tag where I wrote the date on was created with one of the dies in the Fancy Tags Thin Cuts set.
And the Lagoon ribbon is an older retired one from my stash.

I finished the layout off with some Black Dots and Clear Sparkles, as well as a journal pen on the perimeter of the page.

This Is My Happy Place - I Heart Us Papers

I created this colourful layout using the new I Heart Us papers.

I do love how it turned out.

Now I just need to find the right photos for this one.

This Makes Me Happy

This was a quick layout I threw together using CTMH Documented papers, and Documented embellishments and Dots.  The Documented line was retired this past fall.

.

I used the Gold Shimmer Brush on the chipboard globe, and also used it to "splash" some colour onto the white cardstock.

I also used the Cricut You Are Here cartridge to cut the city line, with Gold Foil paper and Pewter cardstock.

Happy creating!  :)

Last Minute Getaway

Playing with the CTMH Heart Happy papers again, I created this fun and easy single page layout to document the trip that Lee and I took to Las Vegas last week.

We literally booked the trip on Saturday morning and were on the flight to there on Tuesday morning.   Fun!

I cut all the circles using the Stitched Circles Thin Cuts dies.

To help catch the viewer's eye to the white title, I added our Clear Shimmer Brush to the lettering.

(This layout was inspired by this one by Pamela O'Connor.)

For Like Ever & Ever

Close to My Heart has a special called Heart Happy perfect for Valentine's, but can be used for much more than just that.

I used the papers and stickers to create this fun single page layout.

The Heart Happy special is available from January through to the end of February, while supplies last.

Happy creating!  :)

Grand March Night

I just realized yesterday that I never shared this layout I created last September.

Never too late, I guess. ;)

My youngest child graduated last June.

The photos in my layout capture how proud we are of him.

I also realized that I barely created any layouts at all last year.

I will need to make up for that.  lol

Happy creating!  :)

Home For Christmas

This layout is waaaay more cuter in person.

(I couldn't quite get my lighting right to photograph it, so the colours are not as bright.)

I snagged a couple of cute photos of my twin daughters while they were home for Christmas, and wanted to document it.

I used papers from the Heart Happy paper pack, which is available in January as a special.

Heart Happy is super cute and Valentine's/love themed, but you can see how I switched it up and used it for my Christmas photos.

Also, I used the CTMH Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 Pattern 3 for the layout design.

I used a Gold Shimmer Brush on my Kraft titles to give them a nice shimmer.

Happy creating!  :)

New Year's Eve

I had a blast ringing in the new year with some of my closest friends on New Year's Eve, a little over a week ago.

For my layout, I used papers from the new Feels Like Home paper packet, as well as Gold Glitter paper, Gold Foil paper, and Black, Eggplant and White Daisy cardstock.

I cut the title using our Cricut Artbooking cartridge, and the Block Numbers Thin Cuts dies for the numbers.

The stamps I used are retired past stamp of the month sets from 2016 and 2017, which both had a New Year's theme.

Other items used were Black and Eggplant inks, Gold Glitter Gems, Journal Pen, and Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.

Happy New Year & happy creating!  :)

Off We Go Layout

Off We Go... this is my latest layout I created yesterday documenting the day Lee and I left Victoria on the ferry after getting Cole settled in at UVic.

The day we became empty nesters.

For this layout, I used papers from the Seasons Mix-in Paper Packet, and the stamped images are from a wonderful Hostess Rewards stamp set, A Thousand Words.

The ferry was cut from the You Are Here Cricut cartridge and the Off We Go title was cut from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

The layout design itself is from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 book.
These books make your layouts come together so easily!

Happy creating!  :)

Sweet Life

I had some scrap pieces left over from my Forever & Always Cut Above Kit, after making these layouts back in April.

So I used them up and created this layout.

Happy creating!  :)

Be The Light

Every year for Convention goers, there is an opportunity to create a layout for a contest.
(I wasn't one of the top 10 winners this year...)

This year's Convention theme was "Who Tells Your Story?", and in keeping with the theme, we were to create a layout that tells part of our own personal story.

I chose to create a layout about me and journal about my recent struggles with a severe anxiety disorder that seemed to come out of nowhere, fast and hard, like someone turned a light switch on... and left it on.

The page has a flip-flap that flips open to reveal my hidden journaling.

And this is my story that I shared...

I talk openly to anyone and everyone about my anxiety, as there is no shame in it.  We are not alone in these struggles in our lives.  I certainly am not the only person in the whole wide world that is dealing with this.  Although the details of my story may be slightly different than others struggling with anxiety, I have and am travelling down my own path of healing and enlightenment.  All struggles come with learning.  And I have learned so much, about life, about myself.

If anyone reading this is needing to reach out to someone, please know I am more than willing to be an ear for you.  And if you want to hear about it, just ask and I will share with you what I learned through my personal journey and how I tackle my anxiety head on.  Just send me an email... vwizniuk@pris.ca

Wishing you all Love & Light!

And happy creating!  :)

Preserve Your Memories...

I used embellishments that were left over from all the Convention layouts that we made to create one more layout.

I used an exclusive Convention stamp set we received called Who Tells Your Story for the stamped images.  I loved this quote and just had to use it.

The Bashful coloured ribbon was the one that was tied around our Convention stamp set, so I used it on my layout.

Happy creating!  :)
