Veranda Birthday Swap Card

Working on a Birthday Card Swap I'm in... this is the second of about 12 cards I'll be making.  I thought I'd give the pleated look a try, but I think I need some helpful tips on how to make it more even at the bottom.  So if anyone wants to help a gal out, please feel free to email me.  ;)

Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):  Veranda B&Ts; Aspiration, Grown With Love, Happy Birthday stamp sets; Cocoa, Colonial White CS; Cocoa, Vineyard Berry inks; Creme Brulee grosgrain; Colonial White Button; Cranberry waxy flax; CC Adhesive Pearls; Scallop edge punch (SU).

Love it...I think it looks good the way the pleats are. I need to try that, too!

Love it! I used this same stamps technique for my Valentine's last year.

The way I do my pleats to get them straight is to just fold the paper and line it up, making a crisp fold, then fold it all the way back lining up the ends again. As long as the paper lines up each time I fold, it turns out perfect! Hope that helps!
