I actually found some time to play for a challenge! Yay! Okay, this one's for the "techie challenge" on the Heart 2 Heart Challenge blog.
The technique I used (although I don't know the proper name for it) is embossing with glitter. (Click on the picture for a better view.) I just hope it shows up in the photo well enough. It's very sparkly in person.
For the techie part: I stamped my flower images, then covered the entire piece with Versamark ink. I used a 50/50 mixture of Clear Detail embossing powder with Prisma Glitter and sprinkled it over the Versamark and heat set it with my craft heater.
Isn't it pretty? I love how it sparkles. And you just never know what kind of surprise the colors of ink will turn... (wink). Thankfully they stayed fairly true to color with the Twilight ink turning to almost Juniper, but beautiful nonetheless.
Up for grabs this week are some awesome cards made by fellow Consultant Deneen Treble. Keeping my fingers crossed that my number is picked!
You all should check out the weekly challenges and play along when you can. They are lots of fun!
Happy creating! :)

Absolutley gorgeous! I'm sure it must be even prettier in person - that you'd really be able to see the sparkle & shine.
