So these are the gifts he's giving this year. In the thank you card, I wrote a quick note of thanks for such a great year and had Cole sign it. I tucked in a gift card to Starbucks, as I see his teacher there after school about once every week, so I know it will get used.
And the Apple gift box I made a while back (you can see my post HERE), I filled with Chocolate Almond Bark. You can see the instructions to make the sweet treat on Julie Buhler's blog HERE. (I used 5 Dairy Milk bars for each gift.)
There is also a Teacher's Assistant in his class that he wanted to give a gift to, who I believe is there to support kids with learning disabilities. So he's giving her a bag of Chocolate Almond Bark, too.
Cole is going to give them their gifts this morning before it gets too warm that the chocolate starts to melt! Hopefully they enjoy them... ;) I can't believe he's headed for grade 5 next year... when did he get so big?
Happy creating!

Love them Vicki - great job as usual!
Hey that thing you asked me about the other day - you can post it any time - I did my class. Sorry I didn't get back to you yet - I have been swamped with life lately.

I love Scenic Route! This card is fantastic!
As a teacher, I must say I love these treat ideas! June is always my busiest time of year, so I really need to prepare these things ahead of time...hmmm...summer vacation might just be the perfect time to get the paper part made and set aside! Thanks for sharing!
