Sugar Coated Cupcake Card

I'm taking a little weekend break from posting my non-winning MIFYH contest entries until Monday.

So today I have a cute cupcake birthday card to share with you.

This is CASEd from Darlene DeVries and you can see her adorable card and video tutorial here.

While there, you should take a little time to look around, too.  Her blog is full of terrific inspiration.  ;)

The glitter cardstock is appropriately called Cupcake Sugar Coated cardstock by Doodlebug Designs.
I bought the 12x12 glittery cardstock in quite a few colors over a year ago, because I fell in love with their glittery goodness, but I just cut into the pink sheet now.
{I don't recall using any of the others yet.}

I might need to make a set of these using some or all of the different glittery colors!

I'll be back to sharing my non-winning MIFYH contest entries on Monday.

Happy creating!  :)

Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper:  Cupcake Sugar Coated CS (Doodlebug Designs); Bamboo, Chocolate, White Daisy CS
Stamp:  Card Chatter Birthday
Ink:  Chocolate
Embellishment:  Chocolate grosgrain
Punches:  Lg. Cupcake (SU), Scallop Border (SU), Corner rounder
Other:  Brown journal pen (SU), Coluzzle circle (retired), 3D foam tape

I think this card is very sweet! I've been working on a cupcake card, too. Now, after seeing your cupcake, I'm in the mood to make some real ones. LOL :-)
