Acorn Love...

Yesterday turned out to be a snow day, with well over a foot of snow that fell overnight, and it continued to snow all day.  School buses weren't running in our district, and there was no way my little Jetta was gonna make it through to take Cole to school, so we took a snow day.

I played in my scraproom and created a bunch of acorn cards, and then I shovelled snow...

Aren't they super adorable?!

That's what I call acorn love!

I started with this shaped card first.

Inspiration came from two different people: Aaron's card, and Christine's card.

I cut the shape at 5 1/2" using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, then traced it onto a folded base, and hand cut the shape, with the fold at the top.

Then I created some 3x3 customer thank you cards.

For these ones, I cut the acorn shapes at 3".

And lastly, I made this card.

Inspiration came from this card by Jeanette Lynton.

It had been sitting in my "lift" files for a year now.

Happy creating!  :)
