I started by stamping with Grey Flannel and Tulip inks onto Colonial White cardstock to create the background words using the "FUN" and "LOVE" stamps from the Rock the Block set.
I wanted these cards to have a masculine feel to them.
I added the flourish swirl in Black ink.
Then I simply added a strip of Black cardstock and Juniper ribbon, and added a few light blue Sparkles to the swirls.
So easy, but I love how they look!
So much in fact that I kept playing...
Using some different stamp images from the same Rock the Block set, I then created a set of 4 more cards, and made a box to hold them, too.
{Note that the sentiment "Simply the Best" is from a different set - Dreamin' WOTG.}
On the cards, I added Clear Sparkles and Black Licorice Opaques.
{Instructions for the Flip Top Box were found here.}
Kinda cute, huh?
Remember, this E-sized set is available only until the end of January. With a minimum $25 purchase from the Fall/Winter 2011 Idea Book, you can get the Rock the Block set and the Collage Cubes for just $15.00.
Happy creating! :)
