Simply the Best with Random Stamping

It's been a while since I played along with a Heart 2 Heart Challenge, so today I pulled out my stamps and ink and created a card.

I pulled out a stamp set from the Dreamin' WOTG kit to use.  I had used the sentiment from that set before (and the dandelion), but hadn't yet inked up any other stamps from that set so I thought it would be perfect for the challenge this week.

I started by stamping the largest image in Olive ink onto a piece of Colonial White cardstock.  Then I added the second largest image by stamping in Pacifica ink onto the center of each Olive image.  Next I used the image that looks like a leaf that perfectly fits inside my first image I stamped, and inked that up with Sky ink.  Lastly I picked the smallest circle shape and stamped with Pacifica ink to fill in the white space.

The flower was cut out of Pacifica cardstock using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, set at 5 1/2".  I tend to use my ancient hot glue gun to hold the flower.  Believe me, once it cools it doesn't unstick and unravel.   Ever.  ;)

I added some sparkle and bling with Clear Sparkles in the centers of each small stamped circle on the random stamped piece of cardstock, and I also added a Designer Rhinestone brad to the center of my rolled flower.

The detail in the upper right corner was done by simply using the CTMH ruler (that has piercing holes) and my paper piercer to poke holes, and then still using the ruler, I drew lines to attach the holes with a Moonstruck marker. (I used Moonstruck only because I don't have a Pacifica marker yet.)

I think the rest is pretty self explanitory.  But if you have a question, feel free to ask.  ;)

Happy creating!  :)

Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper:  Kraft, Colonial White, Pacifica CS
Stamp:  Dreamin' WOTG set
Inks:  Pacifica, Sky, Olive; Moonstruck marker
Embellishments:  Creme Brulee grosgrain, Clear sparkles, Designer Rhinestone brad
Other:  Ruler, Paper piercer, Hot glue gun (unknown), Sewing machine (Kenmore)

Beautiful. I'm going to have to remember to use my hot glue gun. I didn't even think of that. I've been having issues with the flowers staying put.

Great faux stitching! I did not even realize it was not actual stitching when I saw your card at the BB. I use ancient glue gun as well. I just don't have the patience for Liquid Glass on my flowers.

Cool stamping, Vicki! You've done a great job showing how much can be done with a little acrylic and ink.
Love the stitching and use of the ruler, too!
