Clementine Love and Hugs

I love this card.

I used Champagne, one of our new cardstock colours, for the base.

And I stamped the flower and leaf image from Card Word Puzzle in Champagne ink randomly onto the base.

The Sorbet B&T paper is from a new paper packet called Clementine.

And I used the New England Ivy B&T paper from another new paper packet called Pear and Partridge.

For the main image of the flowers, I used Black ink and stamped 3 of them onto the Colonial White cardstock piece.  Then stamped 2 more onto a scrap piece of Colonial White.

I then used my Blending Pen to paint Sorbet ink onto the 2 flowers on the scrap piece, and the bottom flower in the grouping of 3.

I stamped the leaf images onto the New England Ivy B&T, trimmed them out with my micro-tip scissors, then glued them in place.

I then trimmed the 2 flowers out of the scrap piece with my micro-tip scissors, and glued one directly onto the uncoloured top left image, and the top right one I used 3D foam tape to adhere it just to add some dimension.

Onto the flowers, I added a little Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel on the outer edges of the flower centers, and then added a Clear Sparkle right in each of their centers, plus a few Clear Sparkles around the sentiment.

The sentiment is from a wonderful new set called Words of Comfort.

Happy creating!  :)

There's one more day left to enter for a chance to win my blog candy!
I will be doing the draw tomorrow.  :)

I just love everything about this card! That little flower is one of my used stamps, but I never would have thought of combining with Clementine, one of my new fave papers! TFS

This card is SO pretty! I love the flowers and how delicate they look . . . the color of the new cardstock (champagne?) is very nice - very neutral but a little richer. Excellent!
