Paper Trail Blog Hop for September... Moonlight

Welcome to the Paper Trail Blog Hop for September!

You should have arrived from Mary's blog, but this is a circular hop, so it doesn't matter where you begin.

This month we are featuring the Moonlight paper packet.

For this month's hop, I created a little treat pocket to share with you.

It would be perfect to hold some old fashioned candy sticks, but since I didn't have any, I put a couple of new Smokey Plum alcohol markers into the pocket.

Now that's my kind of treat!  lol

To make my treat pocket, I cut a piece of Moonlight B&T paper measuring 2 1/2" x 12", and scored it at 5", then sealed the sides with 1/8" ScorTape.

I used a Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch for the decorative edge at the top of the opening.
Perfect for a Halloween treat!

The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Magic Potions, full of lots of great labels.

The other new items I used are some Black Tulle ribbon, and some Black Striped Grosgrain ribbon.

I've been a busy girl getting ready to attend my first upcoming Close To My Heart event -Regionals, which will be held in Edmonton, AB, in September.
I was honoured to be asked about being a presenter, but with my shyness in talking in front of large groups of people, I decided it was best to turn it down.
Still so very exciting to have been asked.  :)
I was also asked to create a project for the Auction they hold at Regionals.
Now that I could do!
Close To My Heart donates to Operation Smile, so I'm hoping my project brings in enough money to pay for a surgery for someone.
How wonderful would that be???
I will be able to share my project with you after I get back from Regionals.

This is what the papers in the Moonlight paper packet look like:

And with it being a new month, that means there is a new Stamp of the Month - Fall Favorites.

Anyways, it's now time for you to hop along and see what Connie has created.

Happy creating!  :)

Inspiring as always, Vicki. I, too, would take markers instead of candy sticks any day!!! Great job!

Cute project, I love it and especially the drippy border!

Congrats on being asked to present. That's not something they ask just anyone!
