Wonderful Fabulous You

Ain't she puurdy?

Simple, but pretty.  Just the way I like 'em.  ;)

Now if you take a look at the floral paper, you will see that it is from the For Always paper packet.

But with a difference.

I added Lagoon ink to it.

Totally not my idea, but one shared by fellow CTMH Consultant Pamela O'Connor.

She mentioned that it wasn't her original idea either, but that she had picked it up from another Consultant.  ;)

Now I have heard of and even used the Direct-to-Paper Technique from years back, but it hadn't occurred to me to use it in this way, where you saturate your B&T paper, completely covering the white portions with ink.

Cool effect and a new twist on an old technique.  (At least it's new to me.)

I will be adding multiples of this pretty card to my cards for sale.

When you buy one of my cards that I have for sale, you can pick one of my box templates as a bonus, and I will email the instructions to you.

Happy creating and Happy EASTER!  :)

I am absolutely loving this idea too! Yours is gorgeous! I'm really going to have to make it to an album retreat one day... Thanks for sharing your card, Vicki!
