I love the look of using the negative space left from a die-cut shape.
And there is a challenge going on this week over at Flourishes to use your negative die-cut space on a project, so I'm going to link my project up to that.
Why not play along?
I made these very simple 3x3 holiday cards, 4 of each style. The inspiration for my cards came from Pinterest (she used a butterfly shape on her cards), but when I tried the link, it takes you to a closed site.
For the card holder, I found instructions here on Beth Beard's blog.
The box is 2" deep (from front to back), so there's lots of room for 8 cards and 8 envelopes.
Hope you enjoyed!
Happy creating! :)
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Sparkle and Shine B&Ts; Kraft CS
Stamp: Holiday Tags
Ink: Chocolate
Die: Let It Snowflake Die-namics (MFT)
Embellishments: Clear Sparkles, Sparkle Flourish, Dk. Chocolate Striped Grosgrain ribbon
Other: Oval punch (SU), 3D foam tape
