Paper Pumpkin

This was inspired by fellow CTMH Consultant Tara Kenyon. Aren't they cute? And they take so little time to make!

How to:
10 strips of 1x6" CS (I ran mine through the Swirl Cuttlebug A2 embossing folder)
Brad
Grosrain
Crop-o-dile (or hole punches)
Crimper
Oval punch
Faux Tea Light (battery operated - optional)

Take all 10 strips of CS and stack them together. With the Crop-o-dile, punch through the stack on one end with the larger hole, then repeat on the other end with the smaller hole.

Keeping the strips stacked together, place your brad through the smaller punched hole(s). (I place the brad so the head of it is actually inside, so it sits more flat on the bottom.)

Again, keeping the strips stacked together, tie a knot on one end of your ribbon and pull it through the larger hole(s), making sure that you also get your crimped oval leaves on the top. Tie your ribbon as close the the holes as possible.

Fan out your strips of cardstock, forming the rounded shape. You can add a faux tea light (battery operated kind) if you wish.

This is so cute! I may have to add this as a bonus at my next card workshop! I've seen it on the boards, but haven't taken the time to figure out how to make it. Thanks for posting the directions Vicki! Have a great day!
