Pretty Birthday Card
Doesn't chocolate and pink just go together??? YUP!
Inspiration for this card came from one I saw on Karla's blog here: http://karlakroese.blogspot.com/2009/10/thankful-for-you.html. She does such beautiful work! Gotta gush over her... ;)
I used a pink Big Pinks flower and dyed it by dipping it into a container with Vineyard Berry re-inker mixed with rubbing alcohol. I did that step first to let it dry, but ended up having my card put together before it was dry, so I pulled out my trusty craft heater and finished drying it that way. Awesome!
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted): Endless Friendship, Argyle Backgrounds, and Happy Birthday stamp sets; Chocolate, Bamboo and Colonial White CS; Chocolate, Bamboo and Hollyhock inks; Vineyard Berry re-inker; Big Pinks flower; Rubbing Alcohol (other); Chocolate stitched grosgrain; Colonial White button; Chocolate floss (DMC); Scallop edge punch (SU); make-up sponge (other).
