Inspired Birthday Card

My card was inspired by this card by Julie Overby.

Hers is beautiful, and mine turned out pretty okay.
I liked the one I envisioned in my head a little more than this one.
But that's just how it goes sometimes.   ;)

I will be away from my laptop for a little over a week on vacay in Yuma, AZ, so I won't be posting anything to my blog until after I get back home.
And the house-sitter doesn't papercraft, being that he is a oilfield mechanic, and wouldn't have a clue how to blog...  haha

I am looking forward to some hot temps of around 36C (96.8F), especially since it has gotten cold and snowy again here in Northeast BC, Canada, with temps around -18C (-0.4F) with a wind chill of -30C (-22F).
It's been a long winter, like they always seem to be.

Happy creating!  :)

You make me wish that I had bought A Tweet. You always create something amazing with it. :)

I think your version is very pretty - and I can't believe you got that flower at the dollar store. I need to come shop in Canada!
