I really enjoy it when I get to play with my stamps and inks.
And I love to random stamp.
For this card, I stamped my card base in Whisper ink with the large flower from Girls Rock, and the script from the retired Avonlea Cardmaking WOTG set.
I cut a bunch of flower and leaf shapes using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, then inked and sponged ink onto each stamp using a few different pigment ink colours.
Then just stamped, sprinkled Clear Detail Embossing Powder over top, and heat set each one with my craft tool.
I layered the flowers over my random stamped card base using 3D foam tape to add dimension.
The butterfly was stamped with Whisper and Slate pigment inks from the retired It's Your Day set, and I used my new non-stick mirco-tip scissors to cut it out.
Happy creating! :)

I absolutely love this! The colors are fantastic. Wonderful card!
Fabulous card - love all the bright colours and your background stamping. I used to do it all the time, but not so often anymore. A good reminder to do it more often!
Cheers,
Shanna :)
p.s. We have tons of snow here in Thunder Bay, ON too. We had a full out, nasty winter storm on friday that shut down the city and the trans Canada, lol, and it was the 19th of April. It is still feeling like spring may wait until next year to come!
OK, i totally did. Thanks for the uplifting, beautiful card!
For some reason that large flower from "Girls Rock" was giving me fits. This is very inspiring....I will have to get it back out and give it another go :-)
