I always enjoy random stamping.
The feeling of creating my own, one-of-a-kind patterned paper, with my stamps and inks... it just really appeals to me and my creative side.
Always has.
This time I played with a fun floral set called Hello Blooms.
The background script is from a retired Avonlea Cardmaking WOTG set.
And the sentiment is from Fabulous You.
I cut the main flower shape using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge, and I inked my flower stamp first in Versamark ink, then dabbed it into Lagoon ink.
Then just used clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.
I popped it up with a piece of 3D foam tape.
The center of the flower was stamped in Versamark, then Cotton Candy ink.
Then I embossed it, and used a 1/2" circle punch to cut it out.
I simply glued it right onto the center of the flower.
We had another blast of winter Sunday night through into Monday morning with a snow storm, road closures, no school buses running, and such.
So Cole had an at-home day yesterday, much to his dismay. (He likes school.)
So this bright and cheery card helps to make me feel more like Spring is coming, even though it doesn't feel like it much around here. lol
At least the sun is shining today.
Happy creating! :)
