Washi Tape Ornament Holiday Card

So many fun uses for washi tape!

Here's just one example.

I used my Cricut and CTMH Artbooking cartridge to cut the ornament shape out of White Daisy cardstock.

Then took a scrap piece of cardstock and cut a circle a little larger than the ornament.
I covered the circle with strips of Sparkle and Shine Washi Tape, and adhered it to the back of the White Daisy piece, lining up the curve at the top to match the curve of the ornament when looking at it from the front side.
Then I took a scrap piece of Ruby cardstock and adhered it on the back for the top part of the ornament.

I sewed the button and ribbon onto the front before adhering the front panel onto the card base.

The snowflake shape was also cut with the Cricut Artbooking cartridge, and then I covered it with Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel.  Before the gel dried, I set a Red Glitter Gem in the center of the snowflake.

Happy creating!  :)

Very cute.... I don't have the washi tape but I could see doing this with strips of (scrap) paper!
