i ♥ you

This is the card I'm giving to Lee today for Valentine's Day.

Masculine cards are hard to keep masculine.

I always want to add more...  lol

So I held back and left it as is.

Today I will share with you how I made the woodgrain paper.

I inked up a woodgrain embossing folder with Saddle ink by rubbing the ink pad directly onto the inside top part of the folder.

Then I quickly placed a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Cashmere cardstock into the folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug.

The ink is pushed into the grooves of the cardstock, giving it the two tones.
Awesome.

And here's a card I made especially for you!

Ok, who am I kidding?  It's for me.  lol
{ I luv The Rock! }

Happy Valentine's Day & happy creating!  :)

Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):

Ooooo, thanks for the embossing tip! I had to find out how you did that! ;) Great job with the masculine card. I always have to hold myself back from adding glitter.
