I like how this card turned out.
It is simple, but pretty.
I had a piece of cardstock laying around that I had die-cut months ago and hadn't ended up using, so I pulled it out and used it as an overlay or stencil.
I placed the die-cut piece on top of a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Cotton Candy cardstock, and sponged Cotton Candy ink over top. It creates a wonderful effect.
Tip: you can create your overlay with a piece of transparency and wash it off after use, so you can re-use it over and over. ;)
The word bubble shape was cut using my CTMH Cricut Artiste Cartridge.
The sentiment is from the retired Avonlea Cardmaking WOTG kit.
And the heart I used is from a punch. I dabbed my glue pen over top of it and quickly sprinkled some chunky glitter over top.
Lastly, I added a single sparkle within the sentiment.
Happy creating! :)
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):

Stamp: Avonlea Cardmaking WOTG set - retired
Inks: Cotton Candy, Black
Other: Cricut Artiste Cartridge, Sponge, Quatrefoil Die (PTI), 3D foam tape, Heart To Heart punch (SU), Chunky Glitter (SU), Glue pen

You come up with such great cards. Love it!
Pretty card! Really like using an overlay as a stencil to sponge ink.
What a fabulous card! Definitely a wonderful sentiment as well as the techniques you used!
I'm getting all excited and think I'm going to need to stencil something!!!
Beautiful - and this card inspires me to use the overlay sponging technique! It looks so pretty and my friends are all looking for ways to make pretty single layer cards (i.e. save on postage)! Nice work Vicki! Hugs!!
GORGEOUS, Vicki.
This is such a pretty card. Thank you for the tip about the transparency for the stencil. I will be trying it soon.
